Twice a year, Nordstrom Rack holds a designer shoe sale - one of which started today! I stopped by the Union Square location on my way home from work to check it out and here's what I found. Shoes are between 50%-70% off for both men and women. There are a few racks set up near the cash register which house the majority of the women's designer shoes. Men's designer shoes, while still available but in fewer quantities are disbursed throughout the regular shoe section so some digging is required. Keep in mind, sizing is sporadic as are styles but you can definitely score big at this sale. Click below to see a sample of what's up for grabs (warning - this a pretty picture intensive post!).
As a general note, sizing was the best for smaller sizes (4.5-5.5) and larger sizes (9+). Mid range sizes (6-8) were available but in fewer quantities. There was a mix of designers but some of the more prominent ones included Prada and YSL (here's one of your last chances to get some items prior to the Saint Laurent name change).
