Sample Sale Report: Charlotte Ronson December 2012

I stopped by the Charlotte Ronson sample sale over lunch and while they no longer had $10/15 items I was still impressed with the vast selection of merchandise a $20 bill can snag you. All shoes are $20 along with 3 racks full of clothing. 

You could snag a lace / wool cardigan, a graphic chiffon skirt, silk blouses a plenty, party tanks, a romper or a sweet piped dress. For $30 you find yourself taking home some fun sweater knits or some pajama style pants. At the very bottom of the price scale there were some samples and belts in a couple $5 bins but the  samples definitely have some flaws.

There was only one $200 item at the sale and it was a lone leather tee shirt that looked pretty hot in size 4.
$60 can snag you a winter coat in a variety of styles and lengths, a multi colored sweater jackets or vest and some very fun looking party dresses. For $100 you will find fun pieces like embellished tunics and a swingy skirt with a flirty underlayer. You can also snag one of those trendy looking fluro injected sweaters to keep you warm through the winter months.


Last but not least there were a limited number accessories that ranged in price from $5-30. A great sale to stop by still to pick up well priced pieces perfect for yourself or a gift.

Sample Sale Report: Charlotte Ronson June 2012

Stopped by the Charlotte Ronson sample sale yesterday evening and found it to be pleasantly empty around 5:30pm.  I had a feeling though that once the after work crowd rolls in at 6:30pm it won’t be as serene.  As per usual the samples are all well indicated with a price tag that clearly denotes the price which maxes out at $100.  As usual there is a cheaper room and the main room with the cash that is slightly higher priced.  This time around though there seem to be a couple less racks of merchandise than usual – although still a varied assortment with sizes ranging from XS-L

There was a small selection of footwear that included a couple pairs of Melissa Plastic dreams for $40-60  with sizes mostly in the 8-10 range.  I also spotted a small selection of envelope clutches for $60 a pop.

If you’re in the market for stripes there are plenty of options in the $40 category including these adorable shorts, dip dye 3/4 sleeve top and airy sweater.

I also spotted a cute $40 polka dot button-up and elastic waist shorts. For $60, you can snag a very on trend pair of lace shorts, flippy chiffon shorts, cut-out shoulder dress in a linen blend or a most adorable cut out back dress with woven belt.

If you are looking for some accessories to add to your life, you can find things like slips for $5, belts for $10, hair clips $5, rings $15, bracelets $30, earrings $30, necklaces $40, sunglasses for $50.  Perhaps these are leftover accessories from a fashion show.  There are a lot of fun beads and pops of neon to brighten up your summer.

Damaged shoes are now just $20 a pair and ranged in size form 6-10.

For $60 you can snag things like long striped knit dresses, an adorable polka dot / denim cropped button up or a embellished jacket.

This button-up shirt with diagonal seams was $60, The flouncy pleated skirt was $40 and this lace trim floral dress was $80.

This ladylike pin-tuck skirt was $80.  In the $100 ranger were pretty lace dresses. cropped suede jackets and bright mixed knit stripe dresses.

While the selection is smaller than previous sales and the price of merchandise has gone up from previous sample sales, there are still plenty of cute things that will give you a lot of bang for your buck since nothing tops $100.  Worth stopping by if you’re a fan of Ronson’s aesthetic or in the neighborhood.
