Vans and KENZO have partnered to created a unique 6-piece capsule collection set to hit stores March 15th, 2013. The collection includes six unique vibrant color-ways and patterns infused into two of Vans’ classic styles.
"The Creative Directors of KENZO, Humberto Leon and Carol Lim, visited Thailand with the purpose of trekking in the magnificent and awe-inducing Asian Jungle. Animals abound in this contained ecosystem that are unique to the world. Rare elephants, mischievous monkeys and a myriad of reptiles call it home, and most importantly it is here that the tiger is the king of the jungle. Carol and Humberto came across what would propitiously end up being the main inspiration for the prints of their Spring-Summer 2013 collection for KENZO, The Clouded Leopard."
Carol and Humberto thought the Clouded Leopard print would also be the perfect fit for the newest edition to the Vans collaboration. What do you think? Pretty darn cute, right? I have a hard time picking my favorite colorway! If I had to choose I'd go yellow or teal.
